RGIT Australia Granted Full Unconditional Stay Order
Royal Gurkhas Institute of Technology (RGIT) is pleased to announce that the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) yesterday granted our application that the decisions of Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) to not renew and to cancel our registrations be stayed (not take effect) until the hearing of our review applications.
Importantly, the Tribunal did not impose any restrictions on RGIT as part of the stay order. It has permitted RGIT to continue to operate in full, delivering our normal timetable to all our students undertaking qualifications across our entire scope of course delivery in every campus. We will also enrol and commence new students as well as issue qualifications in the usual way. This is excellent news for our students, staff, student recruitment partners and other stakeholders.
While we continue to operate as normal, we will work with ASQA to renew our registration as soon as possible. RGIT Australia will update its stakeholders of any important developments.
In the meantime, we invite any questions to RGIT’s Australia head office via email at email@example.com or by telephone on 1300 844 822 and we will respond as soon as possible. Melbourne Head Office 24 July 2019
