Royal Gurkhas Institute of Technology (RGIT) Australia’s Nepal Regional Marketing and Admissions Manager, Manish Paudel, continued RGIT Australia’s promotional campaign in Nepal this month with visits this time to the east of the country. These most recent visits to education consultancies comes following the institute’s last campaign which saw RGIT Australia representatives travel to central Nepal.
RGIT Australia's enrolment successes
A meet-and-greet with agents took place in Biratnagar on Wednesday, 14 March, before one of RGIT Australia’s most successful meetings was held the following day in Birtamode, Jhapa District. Discussions in Birtamode surrounded RGIT Australia’s latest enrolment successes, agent requirements and the handing out of brochures, marketing collaterals and refreshments. One-one-one discussions with agents took place in Dharan and Itahari, where information pertinent to living in Australia was provided to student counselors to ensure that students would be well-informed of all aspects of living and studying abroad in Australia. Agents and counselors were delighted to learn of the employment prospects in Tasmania following RGIT Australia’s approval to deliver Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Certificate III and ECEC Diploma in Hobart earlier this year. The programs include 480 hours of professional experience and extensive post-study work options.
Agents were thrilled to learn of RGIT Austrlaia’s bounce back with increased enrolment figures, with agents promising to follow suite and provide students starting for July intakes. The campaign included agent meets, door-to-door visits at consultancies and information sessions, and drew to a close a week later on Tuesday, 20 February 2018. RGIT Australia representatives in Nepal are set to travel to Pokhara in the coming weeks for The Next Australian Education Fair 2018.
