RGIT Australia Certificate III in Patisserie students explored Melbourne in a two-hour taste-testing tour on Wednesday, 6 June 2018.

The excursion saw students, along with Hospitality Trainer and Assessor, Graham Robinson, tour Melbourne's foodie hotspots while exploring atmospheric laneways and arcades, as well as the city's coolest bars and street food stalls. Students embraced the atmosphere of bustling restaurants, coffee houses and bakeries on what proved to be a beautiful, sunny winter's day in the city. Students were lucky enough to savour just some of the delights, sipping freshly brewed coffee and filling up on tasty Chinese dumpling, pastries and chocolates while learning how to produce cakes, gateaux, tortens and pastries and preparing serving espresso coffee.
