RGIT Childcare Students Get Creative

RGIT Australia's Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) students had fun on an excursion to Reverse Art Truck Inc. in Ringwood as part of CHCECE018 - Nurture creativity in children on Thursday, 9 August 2018.

The unit, Nurturing creativity in children, is aimed at teaching students how to encourag young children to use their imaginations by playing with open-ended materials. Students put their creativity to the test, when they learned how to nurture young imaginations and creativity using solely recycled materials.

RGIT Australia's Diploma of Nursing students are having fun learning in the institute's state-of-the-art simulated Nursing Lab at Victoria House Campus, Melbourne.

Hospitality PD Session

RGIT Australia's recent professional development (PD) session, facilitated by Hospitality Coordinator, Ayush Gupta, on Monday, 30 July 2018, saw trainers enhance their knowledge and understanding on a wide range of topics. More specifically, the session was aimed at enhancing trainers' skills in assessments, constructive comment writing and maintaining compliance and quality when marking assessments.

RGIT Australia Short Courses cater to Brazilian market

RGIT Australia International Sales & Marketing Officer, Denison Tarsitano Dias, together with WEST 1 Austrália, organised an RGIT Barista Short Course for a class of Brazilian students on Tuesday, 17 July 2018.

Denison welcomed the class of fellow Brazilians, who were eager to gain hands-on skills to become qualified baristas in Melbourne. Denison spoke to students about RGIT Australia's wide range of VET courses, services and facilities.

Students were pleased to know that RGIT Australia's Brazlian staff are there to provide support in their native language.

RGIT Hobart Term 3 Orientation Day 2018

RGIT Australia Hobart campus staff welcomed their newest batch of students at RGIT Hobart Term 3 Orientation Day on Thursday, 12 July 2018. Students were provided with welcome packs, given presentations on RGIT services, facilities and student support services, as well as living and studying in Australia in general. RGIT Melbourne Term 3 Orientation Day 2018

RGIT Australia Term 3 Orientation Day was held in Boardroom Level 7 Main Camus on Monday, 9 July 2018. Students enroled in a wide range of courses were warmly welcomed by RGIT Australia staff and trainers, and were informed on all aspects of student life on campus and living in Melbourne.

Staff welcomed students with presentations, including RGIT Australia Academic Principal, Peter Robertson, who spoke of students' responsibilities, as well as engaging educational and social opportunities students will get to experience while studying at RGIT Australia.

RGIT industry partners consultation

RGIT Australia hosted an industry consultation in Level 7 Boardroom, Main Campus on Friday, 29 June 2018.

Operations Manager, Sanushka Rajbhandary, welcomed all in attendance and outlined the aims of the program before a consultation brief was led by Nursing Coordinator, Vergeeniya SV. Department heads and industry partners discussed department requirements before lunch was served by RGIT Australia hospitality students.
